The world was flat once not too long ago. An unreasonable few were radical enough to challenge this notion, which the masses believed to be infallible, scientific truth. Many were set afire as heretics, burned until their bones became dust. A fortunate few were merely exiled. Most got back in line for fear of the consequences for themselves or those they loved.
