You nailed it Kevin. Being aware of Being. Your three points set up perfectly with Rilke. Am I a falcon? Am I a storm? Am I a never ending song? Each and all. A body in a soul. Connected to the life force of the universe. In the world, but not of it. Oneness. Bless you. 🙏❤️

I relate to this in every way Kevin. Thank you for your eloquent writing about something that is hard to put into words. It's only when we get out of our thinking mind that we can be empty enough for the insight and source to flow through us. It's reminding ourselves constantly to come back to the beautiful simplicity which is available to us, such as our breath, nature, play, stillness. A work in progress! Jo 😊
I’m learning (over and over) that the mind isn’t the right tool for inspiration, and that being empty is the way. I’m interested, how do you get out of your thinking mind these days?
🙂. Thank you for the question Kevin. That would be a good one for a group satsang share wouldn't it. :-)
For me, all the things you have mentioned. And all that I write about. Firstly it's just about being on alert and catching my monkey mind trying to taken over the helm and then kindly ( this is hard for me!) putting myself back in the driver's seat. I do this by pausing and taking notice of the beauty and awe in the little things around me. Nature, body sensation, feeling grounded in my chair, play ( yes! having dance micro pauses from my laptop), etc etc - I could write a novel about it.....
I love that. I try my best to build in opportunities throughout the day to slow down and get more embodied, too. Nature is huge for me, and I love your idea of dance parties. : ) I’ve done that off and on throughout the years.
After reading this incredibly well-thought out and written work, I feel awe. I am struck by your insights and challenges to better understand myself and how I am living. Your writing fills me with gratitude.
Thanks for your words, Nita 🙏! I'm so glad it resonated with you. I'm writing to discover and explore all of this, so I'm grateful that what I'm finding is of use to others too. May we both have our minds blown today and every day.

I didn’t go into this in the article, but watching a hawk was what sparked the idea for it. Still pondering it. Hawks make for good gurus.
This was a good one Kevin! Thanks!
On some lines of yours, I was reading my own ideas & thoughts!
...and while reading through, on my phone, I was thinking that Awe is one mystical ingredient that is not mentioned often.
On my next scroll the subheading is entitled... Awe!
I stop here and say no more 🖖

This is amazing—an inspired vision for what life could feel like. Thanks for writing man!

Play. Stillness. Awe. The 3 ways to live in spirit. Love it, thanks Kevin.
