Hi Kevin - I think you were the first person I subscribed to when I first joined Substack a month or so back. This edgewalking post you’ve written makes me glad I followed that intuition - I was nodding along in resonance the whole time. Such a clear and simple power of expression.

And it reminded me of reading your About page back then, and thinking, “this guy definitely isn’t just a human having a spiritual experience - he’s a spirit having a human one, all at once.”

Wishing you well in this latest trip within!

Kevin I knew I subscribed to you for a reason. I WISH I could write words like this! I can think in this way but can never properly articulate it.

I resonate hard with #1 and #2 on your list. I think it's why I had such a yearning to travel for so many years. To learn and fully absorb and create new beliefs/knowings.

I guess this is why we both have the word "wild" in our Substack names! 😊

I would love to hear about your isolation journey when it's done!

Hi Kevin. Such adventures and portals are not for the faint of heart and I wish you well on your exploration and adventure through this rather fluid, musical, not-what-it-seems reality. I have just completed an annual mushroom journey accompanied by a friend. I am at a retreat center that also offers breathwork and ecstatic dance. Today was the beginning of a Bitcoin conference where I heard an excellent talk on the spiritual principles of it, which resonates.

I am with you. I want to experience things for myself. Some things I just know despite not having experienced them in this lifetime. That kind of knowing, for me, counts too.

In breathwork today I experienced the abundance and light of the flow of love and money. I have a visual image that came with it. I can sense the joy and love in it.

The mushroom journey is both intense and not right to be in a comment. But I found it very helpful.

I wish you well fellow explorer. May your journey be blessed. May you feel how held and loved you are in it and through it.

Thanks, Kevin. As always, everything you say resonates deep within me. I'm in the process of writing a post about my biggest regret, which was not getting on a journey of self-discovery earlier. Knowing thyself is paramount within that journey. Wishing you all the best. And for me, doing mushrooms once a year remains pivotal to getting to know my true self.

Hi Kevin! It’s good to know that I am not the only strange person on the Earth🤣‼️. I too have been on a spiritual journey. Sounds like my roots are similar to yours and a lot of my discoveries as well. Thank you for sharing your journey. It encourages me as I share mine as well. Blessings.

I’ve never seen someone write so clearly about my own innermost knowing before, it’s comforting. A profound firsthand knowledge of Truth and Self are the primary concerns in my life, too. Every night, when I close my eyes to sleep, I sense deeply into Where am I, really? Who am I, really? And I tell my Self I love my Self, and I mean it. I sense a darkness retreat is inevitable for me, too. I once fell into the Absolute. I’ll tell you about it sometime. I look forward to getting to know you better and send you love for your time truly alone with yourself. It is for your highest good and though the mind fears it, it is only because it senses the death of its time on the throne. Only good things can come of it.

Kevin, I really enjoy the way you incorporate your personal story into the universal soul story in your newsletters.

As you say, "The very fact you’re reading a newsletter called The Rewilded Soul says many things about you." We are all in this together and you are inclusive and engaging in your thoughts. It can be hard to do talk about these things sometimes without sounding patronising, I find personally!

I resonate with much of what you say and in particular #3. After many of my earlier years numbing and being numb, it is a pleasure and honour to experience all the joys and pains of being alive. 😊

Look forward to hearing about your darkness retreat.
