FIRST THINGS
Thanks for taking this journey and allowing me into your life. I’m still getting my footing with Substack and figuring out how to best use it to share, connect, and create. It’s all an experiment—messy and iterative. So far, I’ve managed to keep all my fingers and toes.
I want to update you on what you can expect from me and The Rewilded Soul newsletter (at least in the near term).
Every Friday, I will be sending one email that curates all of my recent creations from Substack and other corners of the internet. This will limit the number of emails, which is just as much for my sanity as it is yours. Simply scroll and click on what strikes your fancy.
Below, you’ll find three pieces from my Substack, this week’s “In Other News” and a Post Script about that time I nuked my social media accounts—a decision which might not have been well thought through after all.
Enjoy,
Kevin

My website recently got a facelift. Please stop by and say hi.
This week I opened more 1:1 coaching slots.
More personal retreat dates are available, and a group event is in the works.
POST SCRIPT
Sometime in 2017, I nuked all of my social media accounts and vanished from the every-present glare of algorithms, bots, and the annoyance of digital cookie crumbs that I still find in odd cracks and nooks throughout my digital house.
I peeked in on the socials here and there (the FOMO was strong for awhile), but I mostly didn’t miss it until recently. I partially have Substack to thank for that.
I didn’t miss the echo chamber part of the internet, or the armchair gurus, pundits, and critics who all mean well, but are like someone born blind who claims to be an expert on the color green.
What I did miss was the creative expression these things make possible, and the connections I used to make with strangers in other places on this great blue pearl.
So I recently started over . . . from scratch. I began sharing on Instagram and LinkedIn once again, and will be sharing some other fun projects shortly. If you’re into this sort of thing, I invite you to join me.
If not, here are a few of my favorite shares from the week:
